Greetings,
Zach Bernal has played drums for 45 years and toured in the United States, Europe, Mexico, Russia, and Ukraine. He is proud of his amazing journey working with so many wonderful people in the music industry and to visit other countries. Zach is a native of Colorado, born and raised in San Luis. Zach started playing drums at the age of 8 and pursued his interest in music for many years.
Zach is honored to work with many talented Grammy award winning music artists such as El Chicano, Malo, Carlos Santana and his brother, Jorge Santana, and Carlos’s son Salvador Santana. He also had the honor to work with Tierra, Paris Escovedo, Ray Carrion, Pete Escovedo, Denise Williams, Atlantic Star, Little Joe y la Familia, Roberto Greigo, Al Hurricane, Jimmy Edwards from Latin Breed, and Midnight Star. Zach also had the opportunity to record his drumming for many songs with Adobe Records and other award winning recording studios in the United States.
Zach is endorsed by Zildjian Cymbals and Westone in-ear monitors. Zach had the honor to be on ABC television in a Documentary with his musical talent, which aired in December of 2015.
Zach created the 13-piece Legacy Band in 2010, playing a variety of music such as Latin Jazz and old school R&B music and having National Grammy artists as special guests performing with the Legacy Band. He chose the name to brand the communities with their style of music bringing each of their songs, telling a story of the different cultures of music. It is all about the song original and cover songs, bringing many communities together in the United States, bringing good old memories back to so many people and leaving a memorable experience, which fans have expressed, with positive feedback.
Zach’s goal with the Legacy band project and each of the band members is to leave a legacy, which will live forever a “legacy legend”. Zach is the founder and manager of the band and can be reached at 719-510-9646 or legacymusic2013@gmail.com.
